How long can I expect the batteries to last on a cold day, videoing with the VIO 1.5, Are the batteries lithium. What amount of time can I expect to put on an 8GB – SD card. Can you give me a comparison from the Adventure Cam 3 wich I feed to a Sony DCR-HC96 to the VIO 1.5 as far as picture quality. I bought it from Viosport in 2007, it has been good, I would like a smaller package though. Is there anything comming with telephoto or 1080p soon,would be very interisted.

The AA batteries you use can be any brand you choose. Energizer Lithium batteries will give you about 10 hours of run time, while an 8GB SDHC card will allow you to record about 5 hours or so of video.
