From deep powders days in Jackson to weeklong weather delays in Alaska, every season comes its highs and lows. In anticipation of the coming season, we’ve compiled a reel of Light The Wick’s most gruesome crashes. Sit back, relax and watch as the mountains get the best of Daron Rahlves, Seth Morrison, Dylan Hood, Sage Cattbriga-Alosa and Dana Flahr. As Sage notes, “Well in AK you don’t stop. If you crash you tomahawk to the bottom.” – TGR

“Every once in a while, all the factors line up for the prefect 360 degree day at Mt Bachelor. The back side is the stuff of legend. Anyone who has ever hit it fresh from Summit to Northwest on a good day knows that, mere words cannot describe how unbelievably awesome it is. You have to see it to believe it. Well now you can. I just happened to bring my trusty VIO cam with me and I got in line about 8 chairs back. I’ve had some great runs in my time, but this one takes the cake as the absolute BEST line ever!!! A foot of fluff, 3600 feet of untouched bowl after untouched bowl. Snow sparkling like I’ve never seen, bluebird sky and no wind. Wow, days like this are what I live for!” – powderpov

“Video of my Megavalanche 2010 race in Alpe d’Huez, France. This was my first ever Megavalanche. I started in the Affinity 1 group. I had two falls (not including the snow section), one where I got stuck on a rock and one in the lower wooded section when I lost grip on a bend and dived into the bushes. The video was shot using a VIO POV.1 camera mounted using a goggle mount.” – Frank Rizzo

“Wow! Yet another perfect Bluebird Summit day! Thats 5 in the past 17 days. Keep it coming! This time I got 2nd chair and headed for the Cows Face for an ultra fresh line. Life is good!” – powderpov
