Marquette, MI (March, 2009)— V.I.O., the leader in wearable video technology, has engaged in a strategic partnership with Summer Gravity Camp (SGC), the world-renowned freeride bike camp based in Whistler, British Columbia. The partnership will utilize V.I.O.’s new POV.1.5 wearable video technology as a tool for training and video production.
Campers and coaches at SGC will have the opportunity to use POV.1.5 video units during the course of the camp experience. During that time, camper participants will be able to record and later produce videos to review freeride technique and share memories of the camp experience. Videos will be shared between the SGC website & V.I.O.’s video blog.
“Partnering up with VIO gives our campers an amazing tool for training and capturing those epic riding moments,” said Andrew Shandro, SGC Director. It’s great to have the opportunity to see yourself on video and take your camp experience home with you.”
